Medium Pressure Fans for Air Extraction or injection
Designed for inline applications, most medium pressure fans are suitable for industrial applications, air extraction or injection that includes clean air transportation, cooling of machines and parts, or higher temperature air extraction. On heavy industrial medium pressure fans with motors situated in ambient air outside of the airstream, the carried air temperature can be quite high, and with no restrictions on motor size, the fan performance can be high for given impeller dimensions.
Hazardous Area Classifications - A Key Part of ATEX Fan Selection
ATEX zones are classifications that determine the presence of the explosive gas or dust. This is then used to determine the level of protection the equipment must offer to be deemed suitable for use, ensuring it does not act as an ignition source in potentially hazardous environments.
Most medium pressure centrifugal fans are available in ATEX certified fan constructions under Ex h ATEX markings, and certified for use in gas zone 1 or 2, or dust zones 21 or 22. Special paint grades C4 or C5 can be applied to enhance corrosive protection.
Alternatively stainless steel inox 304 or 316, either standard or electropolished option are available on request.
