The DRAD and DRAG series of EC forward curved centrifugal fans are made of galvanised sheet steel. They feature external rotor motors with high rotor resistance. DRAD & DRAG models are versatile and energy efficient. They can provide airflows up to 15,000 m³/h.

Featuring Integrated Speed Control and Motor Protection

The DRAD and DRAG series of EC forward curved fans are specifically developed for process air technology and air conditioning. They are compact in design and suitable for a range of applications including confined spaces. Some common applications include air handling units, compressors, industrial buildings and renewable energy sources such as wind turbines.

Available With Impeller Sizes 180mm – 400mm

DRAD and DRAG double inlet fans are available with forward curved impellers from size 180mm to 400mm. Impellers are made from galvanised sheet steel and mounted directly to the rotor of the external rotor motor. They are dynamically balanced on two levels with the rotor according to quality level G 2,5 / G 6,3 as per DIN ISO 21940-11.

Technical Data

DRAD and DRAG models are paired with an EC asynchronous external rotor motor with an IP54 Protection class and a thermal class F. The motor adjusts its operation according to the respective loads and this changes the speed dependent on the total pressure. This is particularly advantageous in systems where resistances vary during operation.
