Introducing the STORM 18: High Power Corrosion Resistant Fans for Elevated Pressure Applications

The new storm 18 (ST18) polypropylene fan is the largest of Axair’s storm range of high pressure optimised forward curved centrifugal fans manufactured from chemical resistant polypropylene. The storm, ST range provides a wide range of relatively low airflows against elevated pressures suitable for corrosive applications. The anti-corrosive nature of polypropylene is an important feature when considering a suitable fan selection for harsh environments. It is lightweight and durable properties along with low costs contributes to it being the preferred solution for many industrial applications. Paired with a high power 7.5 kW, with a speed of 2870 RPM, IP55 three-phase motor, the Storm18 centrifugal fan has several benefits.  

  • The three-phase motor provides efficiency in applications demanding high speed and torque.
  • Ingress protection level IP55 ensures the motor is protected against dust, water and can withstand harsh environments.

The storm range of fans are available mounted on metal pedestals or a weather protecting box pedestal. A wide range of high-quality accessories are also available to facilitate easy installation including AV mounts, starters, relays, inverters, and weather cowls.
