EC Plug Fans That Help OEMs to Build Better AHU Systems
The plug fan is admittedly, the work horse of the air handling unit, it pulls the air from outside and then through the dampers, filters and coils, and pushes it out into the ductwork around the building. The ductwork will then send the air around the building to the designated areas. Return ductwork coming back will return all of the used air from the building back to a seperate part of the AHU. For this reason you can understand why it's a fundamental part of ventilation systems, get it wrong and your system won't perform as required. This return AHU is usually located near the supply, but it doesn't have to be. I-Series EC Plug Fans
The latest high efficiency, high airflow orientated impeller from International manufacturer, Rosenberg Ventilation, features 5 backward curved, hollow profiled aerofoil section blades contoured in sheet alumnium. The new design significantly reduces the turbulent downstream air produced by traditional backward curved impellers, to which the effect is significantly reduced noise and increased in-application efficiency.

E-Series EC Plug Fans
Our high performance centrifugal impeller without spiral housing, the E-Series “REVOLUTION” is a range specifically designed for volume flow. Manufactured from aluminium, the E series range is designed and manufactured especially for the use of larger volume flow and lower pressure coupled with superior noise reduction and quiet operation. The impellers are manufactured using a black, UV-stabilised, long glass-fibre reinforced polypropylene.

The B Series range of plug fans feature a seven blade design with a unique wheel geometry that provides impeller efficiencies up to 78% while reducing noise by up to 3dBA when compared to previous impeller designs. The enhanced wheel design increases airflow compared to standard impellers operating at the same speed. B series impellers feature all alluminium construction and robot assisted welding

G-Series EC Plug Fans
Combined with electronically commutated motors (EC-motors), G series plug fans form a very compact, efficient and optimised fan unit. The high pressure optimised impeller is manufactured from sheet steel metal coated in quartz grey and features 6 backward curved, profiled blades and efficiency optimised diffuser wheel.
