High efficiency KBAE and KBAD commercial kitchen extract fans are available with both forward curved and backward curved impellers and can offer flow rates up to 8,200 m³/h. The casing consists of a double-skinned galvanised sheet steel with a non-flammable rock wool acoustic and moisture insulation. Ideal for Commercial and Industrial Kitchen Ventilation

The KBAE and KBAD series of high quality extraction fans, driven by motors located out of the air-stream, can operate at up to 100°C, while the housing remains cool due to the manufactured thermally insulated skin. The motorised impeller is assembled to a hinged door, which provides rapid access to the fan for inspection and cleaning. We offer various models of commercial kitchen fans available in both single and three phase. We’re sure to have the right fan to meet your duties and operating conditions.

Optimised Casing and Impeller Combination

Impellers are available from 180mm - 500mm. Forward curved impellers made of galvanised sheet steel are available up to size 280mm. Backward curved impellers made of aluminium are available from size 315mm. The impellers and the hubs as a unit are balanced at two levels according to G2.5 to DIN 1940.

Technical Data

The standard rotation direction of the impellers, as seen from the inlet side is counter-clockwise. Clockwise operation will cause overload damage to the motor (from size 315). The electrical connection is on the terminal box already loosely pre-assembled on the cable. The nominal voltage is indicated on the type shield and will allow for a voltage tolerance of ±10%.
