ATEX Certified Axials Fans with Circular Reinforced Frames
The HCX series of ATEX short cased axials fans are certified for use in zone 1 ATEX environments and can provide airflows up to 90.000 m3 /h. When selecting an ATEX fan you are responsible for providing us with the correct information about the ATEX zone you are operating in. Hazardous area classifications should be done by a certified ATEX consultant. This is required to ensure your selected fan is safe to operate in your zone. Variable Fixed Blades for Higher Volume Airflow
Suitable for Zone 1 ATEX applications, the HCX range of short cased axial fans feature adjustable aluminium blades to suit specific requirements. They can provide high airflow rates whilst offering explosive protection in potentially explosive environments.
HC: Polypropylene impeller (A2 profile) or polyamide impeller reinforced with fibreglass (other profiles) with variable pitch angle
HCA: Cast aluminum impeller with variable pitch angle
HCX: Cast aluminum impeller ATEX rated
Designed for wall or duct installation, they are suitable for:
•Air renewal in buildings and industries
•Smoke extraction (maximum 40ºC)
•Working temperature: ambient -20ºC to 40ºC
•Supply impeller (air direction from impeller to motor), 100% reversible impeller
•60Hz fans and special voltages
•Hot-dipped galvanised or stainless steel housing
•Can be adapted, adding a square plate frame, to transform it into an axial square frame version fan
Technical Data
The ATEX certified HCX range of short cased axial fans are paired with an ATEX standard asynchronous motor manufactured with standard voltages; 230/400V 50Hz in 3~ motors up to 4kW and 400/690V 50Hz for higher powers.
