Energy Saving Fans from Rosenberg
Rosenberg's EHAG series of single-inlet backward curved radial fans with EC (Electronically Commutated) motors can reduce energy consumption by up to 35% in many applications compared to standard AC fans. They are available in nine sizes from 225 mm to 560 mm with airflow from 1600 up to 13500 CFM. These high-efficiency, compact radial fans have been developed especially for use in air cleanroom ventilation, conditioning, commercial kitchen exhaust, industrial ventilation and OEM machinery applications. They offer energy savings up to 35% when operated at speed-controlled partial load range. All EHAG Series fans are 100% speed controllable and are CE, UL and RoHS recognized. The full range of sizes for the EHAG Series includes 225, 280, 315, 355, 400, 450, 500 and 560 mm fans. The two smaller sizes feature scrolled galvanized steel housings. From 450 mm up, fan housings are of rectangular sheet metal construction.
The concave backward curved impeller is made of aluminium and is mounted directly to the rotor of the external rotor motor. It is dynamically balanced at two levels together with the rotor according to quality level G2.5 DIN1940. Rosenberg backward curved EC fans feature extended-life, low-temperature brushless DC motors that are controlled by maintenance-free electronic circuitry. Because of reduced mechanical content, electronically commutated (EC) Rosenberg fan motors run cooler and quieter. Rosenberg backward curved fans are available to meet customer-defined specifications including airflow, power, rotational speeds, noise level, overall dimensions and finish. In addition to these applications, Rosenberg fans and blowers can be found in HVAC systems, as well as industrial and portable air conditioning; in air cooling for variable frequency drives (VFD), wind power generators and power converters, solar inverters, uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), transformers, heat sinks, fan coils, telecom racks and other industrial equipment; in air handling units and fan filter units (FFU); and in railway, marine, military and avionics equipment.
