We are delighted to introduce the latest member to our industrial sales team, Georgia. She recently joined the business as a product sales engineer from a background in sales within the industrial sector.
Specialising in our Casals and SEAT ranges of industrial fans, Georgia will be responsible for managing the product ranges, specifying fans for a huge array of applications and providing technical support for our customers.
Georgia can be seen here alongside our Head of Industrial, Faye Brophy, as they assemble a batch of SEAT S20 polypropylene fans ready to go out to one of our valued customers. Our supply partner, SEAT are the leading French manufacturer of plastic fans which are principally designed to extract corrosive fumes from laboratory fume cupboards, but are also applied to general industrial fume handling. Range products include SEAT, STORM, and JET fans.
Casals, our supply partner based in Spain, are manufacturers of low, medium pressure and high pressure centrifugal fans and axial fans alongside an impressive range of smoke extraction jet and induction fans. Casals also have an impressive ATEX collection suitable for use within explosive atmospheres to Zone 1, 2 or 22 (read our guide on ATEX fans for more information).
From this range, Georgia will typically be specifying fans for process cooling, factory ventilation, food production, dust extraction, hazardous areas and machine cooling.
The fan pictured to left, from the Casals’ HMA range has been specified for one of our customers in the heat and engine based power generation sector. Weighing in a 166kg each, the fans benefit from reinforced rolled steel casing, reversible cast aluminium impellers, high power IP55 motors and a built in maintenance inspection hatch (learn more about IP ratings here). Hot-dipped galvanised and stainless steel versions are available on request for more specialised applications.
Georgia joining our Industrial team is part of wider growth in the Axair sales team with a focus on our key market sectors and areas of potential development. Our industrial team combine over 25 years of experience in air movement, construction and fan engineering to deliver exceptional product knowledge, fan integration expertise and a thorough knowledge of corrosive and explosive ATEX environments.
