Here at Axair Fans the office has been filled with the buzz of excitement for weeks in anticipation of going to one of our favourite trade fairs; ISH.
ISH is one of the world’s leading trade shows combining renewable energies, building, the bathroom experience, energy and air conditioning. There are over 2000 exhibitors from 61 countries with 200,000 visitors. This year’s choice of location for Europe was Frankfurt.
This year’s exhibitors made quite the show of it, keeping up with ISH’s reputation for innovation, with creative, bright and interactive stands to match.
ISH not only bring what’s new and innovative to the market but discuss current developments in the sector in a whole host of different ways. They have specialist lectures with examples best practice, panel discussions, dedicated displays and guided tours allowing visitors to get the most out of their visit and to network and meet new contacts.
One of the biggest topics of discussion this year was ERP. The market place is currently adjusting to changes in legislation for ERP 2015 but the market place is aware that a new ERP may be imminent with the terms “ERP 2018” and “ERP2020” being brandished around the show.

The second big topic of the week was EC. Electronically Commutated products aren’t new to the market but it seems that EC popularity is on the rise. Due to the demand more companies are now showcasing more EC products. This is unsurprising as EC products are energy efficient and offer the best of both worlds, combining AC and DC voltages.

Another observation was the increased popularity of fan grids. One of which was exhibited by one of our suppliers.
