Axair Recognised at HazardEx Awards

Axair recognised at Hazardex Awards 2019Axair are very happy to announce that we have been recognised at the HazardEx Awards 2019. At the HazardEx conference and awards ceremony last week, we were awarded with Highly Commended for the Contribution to Safety Award.

The award was defined as ‘a product, system or service which has made a significant contribution to safety in hazardous area environments’. Axair faced competition from a number of suppliers that offer products specifically designed to operate in areas with the potential for explosion (Read our guide on ATEX Fans).

Our range of Storm corrosion-resistant, ATEX certified fans were firstly shortlisted for the award by the HazardEx panel of industry experts, then voted for by professionals in the sector. The range of centrifugal fans are designed to extract harmful and corrosive vapours from areas of work, particularly in the process and hazardous industries.

Over the last decade, the HazardEx Awards programme has become a benchmark for those supplying products, services and systems within hazardous areas. The awards are designed to recognise excellence in the hazardous area sector. At the annual two-day exhibition, attendees heard presentations from senior figures in the high hazard industries, regulators and industry organisations. All aiming to strengthen and expand the community that looks to the HazardEx website and journal for industry intelligence and information.

Axair’s sales manager, Geoff Edwards, received the accolade at the awards gala dinner in Cheshire;

‘It’s fantastic to have our Storm range recognised by the industry at such an excellent event’.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the HazardEx team and all our customers who voted for us. Congratulations to all participants and winners!
