The 30th March 2022 marks 30 years since Axair’s incorporation date in 1992. The Axair team are celebrating in full team spirit with plenty of tea and a custom designed cake sporting the Axair Fans Logo. Balloons, party hats and blowers are at the ready for a fun packed day of sales and celebrations.
Founder; Grant Edwards, started the foundations of the growing distribution business back in 1983 working from a small office in his own home. In line with the Company incorporation, Grant set up his first warehouse premises in Stafford and established key relationships with leading European industrial fan manufacturers Ecofit, Seat & Fandis.
By 2012 the company had outgrown the premises and a much larger warehouse was required to fulfil the increased demand of stock, so the decision was made to relocate to Wolstanton. Over the years Axair has grown and developed longstanding, close working relationships with seven of the top European fan manufacturers; Rosenberg, ETRI and Casals who join the original three major manufacturers as Axair’s key principal suppliers. Ensuring an ongoing supply of innovative industrial fan technology & design from specialists for such a vast array of products and accessories has placed Axair at the central point of fan distribution.
In 2015 Axair developed its online ecommerce store offering a full range of Fandis climate control solutions to facilitate effective enclosure cooling and temperature control inside an electrical enclosure or cabinet. Then, not one to stop there, Axair incorporated its sister company Axair Refrigeration in 2016. This enabled the group to focus on its supply of components into the commercial refrigeration market. A Clean Air Division was established in 2019 in line with growing concerns of air quality and sterilisation in public spaces.
By 2020 company growth remained on a consistent high even throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and the requirement for space to hold stock led to the decision to extend the warehouse to 18,000sq.ft. The aim was to accommodate the increasing demand from its online ecommerce store; Axair online and to allow for a larger stock holding for the Axair Group. Further renovation work has also been completed inside the offices to reflect the companies new management and fresh team in 2021. New company signs have been placed on the walls and new furniture has been integrated.
Today the company remains strong with a team of 19 employees and a fresh approach to company expansion and brand awareness. Both company websites www.axair-fans.co.uk and www.axaironline.co.uk have recently been fully redesigned to showcase Axair’s vast product range and technical expertise. Axair prides itself on its technical fan integration experts dedicated to serving the UK market.
