European Directive 2002/95/EC RoHS
Axair Fans UK Limited is an independent company distributing fans and ventilation equipment into the UK market on behalf of several European manufacturers. We accept our obligations under the above Directives.
RoHS
The majority of the products currently in our warehouse comply with the directive and have done so since September 2005. There are some products, and their attendant accessories that do not comply but their application falls outside the scope of this directive. We continue to put pressure on all our suppliers such that all products (irrespective of application) will eventually conform.
WEEE
Axair Fans UK Limited does not generally supply a “complete” product, only components that are incorporated in a higher assembly. It is our understanding of the Directive that we are not included within its scope because we work on a business to business basis. We will work with any of our clients to find a solution should the Directive be changed by statute or clarified by official notification or common practice.
