Axair has introduced a new range of fume cupboard air alarms.
Designed for ease of use and ease of installation, LABAIR-A has light emitting diodes to indicate 'safe air' speed, 'low air' speed, and 'sash high'. When the fume cupboard is in an unsafe condition, an audible alarm will sound either immediately or after a selectable time delay.
LABAIR-C automatically controls the air speed at the sash face regardless of sash height by sending a signal to an inverter drive to vary the speed of the fume extraction fan or the angle of a motorised system damper. Either type can be supplied with digital read-out of air speed.
For schools and other low utilisation fume cupboards LABAIR-J or 'Junior' provides a simple indication of normal or low air speed with an audible alarm and alarm mute control.
All models have factory calibrated sensors to detect sash face air speeds below 0,5m/s and can be easily re-calibrated for other speeds.
